I would LOVE to take vocal lessons with a vocal coach, and sing on demos (don't want to be a pop star!). I've been so focused on my education and paying my bills each month that I never put much thought into making time for something I love to do: sing.

After my divorce several years ago, I literally shut down and stopped dreaming or even attempting to design...i.e. dress mature women. It's been 13 years after my bitter divorce and I have since remarried. This year, I had the opportunity to reunite with my royal family in Africa and this has ignited my designing juices again! I just recently finished my collection of signature tote bags, proceeds will go to fund a non profit organization in Africa to alleviate poverty amongst children in Africa.
My dream is to see this signature tote bag and the story: Fashion for LIFE CAMPAIGN: featured in magazines and to see a major local dept store carry it., so that the non profit work in Africa can progress. It will not hurt to have a Nashville local celebrity carry it too --)))

I have been "writing a book" since I was 11 years old, that's 16 years of having such a goal without much of an outcome.
This time of year has me reassess what I've done, always wanted to do, and what I know I am capable of and feel driven to accomplish in the upcoming year. Now it is clear to me how pertinent the book is to my life story, and my carving a path for myself in the world by helping people feel better through writing books.
I am starting with ebooks, and hope to have the first "Simply Divine" recipes book finished by mid-January, and from there, start working on Create Radiance wellness books to uplift and inspire you to create a radiant life from the inside out.
For now, articles, tips, recipes and inspiration can be found on:

Waller - Congrats on identifying and holding on to your dream. I'm a writer too. Although my Great Book has yet to be written (I've done other stuff, though) - I've learned that sometimes, just holding onto the dream is enough. Like a seed, it may have to lie dormant and germinate, underground - out of sight, and perhaps, out of mind - until the time and season are right and it comes bursting up through the earth, forcing its way through. I've been "working on" my book for nearly as long as you - and only w/in the past couple of years has it really begun to come to fruition. Best wishes on pursuing, and catching, your dream.
