At the age of 35, Holland Carley, of Bellevue, TN, was determined to lose the forty-extra pounds she had gained since college.  She took up running, joined a local running club and trained for a 5K.  Once she completed her 5K, she decided to go a little further.

Her exotic name and Bollywood beauty will grab your attention, her singing will have you dancing, her fashion will have you inspired and her writing will have you wanting more! 

Snow flakes danced on my cheeks. Cold crisp wind gently bounced over my parka. I was gliding through a snowy, white winter wonderland. Excited and smiling like a kid on Christmas morning, I could barely contain my happiness. I was in Alaska and dog sledding!

On May 21st, 36 year old Mirjam Beaudoin, stood on top of the world and thought “this one’s dedicated to you grandma!”  
 
Mirjam checked a huge item off her bucket list when she reached the summit of 29,029 ft, Mt. Everest, The tallest mountain on earth.  I am not sure how many TN residences can claim this feat, but as a German born woman, she is only the 4th one to ever bag this peak!  How cool is that?
