As if Nashville's sweet scene wasn't good already, it's about to get a whole lot sweeter. Pinkberry frozen yogurt brand bursts in to Nashville this fall with a shop across from Vanderbilt. The Pinkberry claim to fame is both the healthy factor — nonfat yogurt and hormone-free nonfat milk ingredients — as well as its tastebud tantalizing flavors like mango, coconut, and more ... all made with fresh ingredients.

Macy's now carries the Skagen Denmark watch line. Perhaps the most stylish is the Colors of Skagen line, which features the signature Skagen silver mesh watch band and brushed chrome dial. The watch is so lightweight you barely know it's there, lest the twinkle of the Swarovski crystals catch your eye. This watch retails for $100; learn more at http://www.skagen.com.

So, I may not be getting a G4, but my 3Gs is still satisfying my needs thanks to the new v.4.0 OS for iPhone. It's like a brand-new toy for this iPhone fanatic! I really dig the organization option for all the apps, though I need to spend a little more time getting things exactly where I want them; I went a little wild yesterday just throwing stuff in different folders simply because I could.

HOWEVER ...

It seems the Nashville Sounds have a little competition. The Nashville Outlaws have just arrived in town, and they're bring a little old-school to the local baseball scene. This wood-bat baseball team is a member of the Prospect League, which has a 40-year history. The Outlaws have a 56-game season lined up, and all home games are played at Vanderbilt's Hawkins Field.

For expectant moms, pick up a copy of The Hot Mom to Be Handbook (Avon) by Jessica Denay. Part pregnancy journal, part pregnancy guidebook, Hot Mom addresses everything from curbing nausea to buying bras for your newly large boobs. Find descriptions of the best pregnancy and baby must-haves as well as some subtle indulgences just because. Granted Denay is no doctor (she said it, not me), but what she does offer is a fun read filled with advice that feels more like you're chatting with a girlfriend than pouring over pages and pages of what to expect.

Yesterday, I had the utmost pleasure of receiving a most magical massage at the brand new spa on Music Row called Corroboree. For the unannointed, Corroboree is a completely unique spa experience, and for the record, yesterday's massage was — hands down — the very best massage I have ever gotten. And by very best, I mean I felt like I was high when I left. High on life, silly  ... I felt fabulous!!  But let's start from the beginning...

I often find myself in search for a good read. I'm usually stuck with the cheesy, mindless books, but I love coming across books that really make your soul smile. Gotcha Covered: A Legacy of Service and Protection (Westview) is a book about aprons and the stories that they tell. Not all of the stories about aprons are from the kitchen, though. They also are aprons that the nurses wore in the mid-1950s and beyond.

Unable to sleep on Sunday night, I caught up on all of the DVRd shows I'd been neglecting. One of the recordings was of a show I was only slightly interested in watching: "Who Do You Think You Are." And after watching two episodes back to back — Lisa Kudrow's and Emmitt Smith's — I'm hooked.

Let's be clear. This is NOT a promo for Dish Network. It IS a promo for oh-my-gosh-i-can't-believe-how-easy-life-is-sometimes! Last night, my husband alerted me to a new iPhone app by Dish Network, a satellite company we employ in our home. The app is free and touts remote DVR capabilities. Intrigued, I downloaded it.
