Arrrrg! I've discovered how to change my default language on Facebook from English (US) to English (Pirate): IT IS HYSTERICAL.

Go do it. RIGHT NOW.

The change does not affect your wall postings, messages or status updates, just the language Facebook uses to describe stuff. For instance, "Married to" becomes "Anchored to" and the "Like" feature on someone's comment becomes "Arr, this be pleasin to my eye."

To adjust your language option: go to Settings; then Language; then scroll down to the bottom of the language list and select English (Pirate). That's all me maytey!

I'm only on day two of my Pirate Facebook experience; although I'm sure I'll get sick of it at some point, this saucy wench finds it verrrrry pleasin' at the present.
